Beginning in the pre-season, our wrestlers cultivate their competitive edge through regular conditioning, strength training, and advanced technique coaching. We believe a championship season begins well before the first whistle, so our athletes move quickly from conditioning to season-ready discipline, toughness, and technique under the leadership of the Dynamic Sports Group staff.
Dynamic wrestlers are fortunate to have the chance to work on their sport during the off season. Our camps give our wrestlers the opportunity to keep their enthusiasm for the sport high, their skills fresh, and the team spirit ignited. Wrestlers who participate in our camps find that they are ready to hit the mats with increased passion and performance when the season returns.
Mr. Pete Early works with Dynamic Sports Group participants on an on-going basis to assist them in developing their leadership skills. Through lectures and guest speakers, facilitated group discussions, and resource sharing, team members are challenged to answer tough questions for themselves, such as what their futures hold and how personal choices will shape their character.
Imagine the excitement and anticipation of an 8th grade student as he boards a bus and heads out of state for the first time in his young life. Imagine the depth of camaraderie and support that a 12th grade student feels as he and his teammates gaze at their heroes in the Museum of Wrestling or see their first Monet at the Smithsonian. As a nervous 9th grader begins to wonder if college is right for him, imagine how powerful it is for him to walk college halls, interact with college students, and become enthralled by his real-life academic experience.
These are the feelings that we hope to invoke in our children through the Enrichment Tour. The tour is run several times throughout the year for 8th-12th grade students. Stops are planned to include wrestling activities, academic points of interest, and sightseeing.
After graduation, our teammates remain part of the Dynamic Sports Group organization in a variety of ways. Some take part in a paid internship through DSG. Others return to mentor younger students or to develop their personal networks. Regardless of how they participate, the healthy lifestyle inspired by DSG takes root and our athletes continue to flourish well into their futures.
